When we were searching for such dream-seekers, we came across an incredibly dedicated personality, Mr. Ankur Goel. Ankur is a engineer, but he always had a dream to become a lawyer. An Inspiring Leader
Ankur Goel completed his engineering degree due to family prestige, but he always wanted to become a lawyer since childhood. To accomplish his dream of becoming a lawyer, Ankur studied for LLB degree from college in the first half of the day and managed to work in an IT company simultaneously in the second shift of the day. For three years, Ankur used all his leaves from office for his LLB exams and never took any vacations. But all the struggle was worth it, as currently Ankur has four offices in different parts of the country like Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Thane.
Ankur has rich corporates experience in IT industry with companies like Satyam, SAP, and IBM for 15 years and travelled across the countries like USA, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, France, Austria, and Korea. He lived in Europe for more than 2 years but came back to India because of the education of his child. After completing LLB, Ankur resigned from his highly paid IT job and made a change of career.
Initially, he wanted to practice Criminal Defence. But later, Cybercrime cases came to him as he earned experience by working in IT industry for more than 15 years. Now he is helping couples to seek new life through family courts, and he is one of best Family and Divorce Lawyer. He is also Medico-Legal Lawyer panel.
When we asked Ankur, which factors make him accept or reject a case, he replied, “I believe in Lord Ram’s principles that if a person seek refuge, then it is our dharma to shelter that person. Lot of accused are wrongly suffering due to misuse of laws to settle scores. However, if someone hides information from me then I reject that case because there is trust deficit and if someone is not trusting us completely then we cannot give our 100%.”

To avoid this repetition, Ankur decided to make various informative videos, which were stored on Tablets and then given to the clients to watch while waiting for their turn to come. This way, Ankur did not have to repeat the same things, so that people could directly specify their issues and save time.
The videos, which Ankur made for his clients were published on his YouTube channel to help common citizens. Some short videos were also made on frequently asked questions.
When we asked Ankur; will e-court platforms and digitization of judicial process help the law firms and the citizens equally, he answered, “Definitely, special thanks to Bangalore Family court to rise above bar during lockdown and help people to take divorce through video conferencing without going to the courts. It also helped lawyers to be safe. Due to video conferencing, I was also able to attend many cases in a day.”
