Please brief our audience about your organization, its values, vision, and mission.

CareerGro is a new age consultancy service for students who wish to pursue their dream of studying abroad. Unlike other players, we try to focus on the student and offer personalized services to meet their needs.

Tell us your secret behind impacting the consultancy niche.

In the brief time that we have been in the market around 250 students have placed their trust in us. We were able to navigate the pandemic because of the faith of our students and their parents. I believe that the student journey goes far deeper than career mapping. It should empower students to make the right choice rather than us choosing the student. Once the student understands the career choices, then offering them options becomes far easier. We are a digital company, and we believe in combining student journeys with automation and intelligent analytics.

What challenges do you and your team come across in your day-to-day operations?

Working with young minds during a pandemic is challenging in itself. The pandemic has caused some sort of doubt in terms of a few industries. The student choices have moved from engineering and business to genetics, logistics and other niche areas. Often the students are confused and do not understand if they have a skill set for the courses. We try and talk to the student and help them make confident career decisions and guide them to succeed. We feel that we have a responsibility to shape the future of a generation and are glad to do our part in bringing this change.

Considering the current pandemic, and its impact on global economies, how are you driving your organization to sustain operations and ensuring the safety of your employees at the same time?

Well, social distancing was never an issue as our team always used to sit far apart to ensure quietness while counselling. Some sessions have moved online, and we are also leveraging the power of technology to help students have a smooth experience.

What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the consultancy sector?

Consulting is a responsibility.  We are responsible for our clients and our customers. Be honest and always have good intentions, and you should be successful.

Where do you envision your organization to be in the long run, and what are your future goals?

Our goal is to have an excellent alumni list. Everyone wants to make money. True, but we want to change our clients’ lives and ensure that they are well placed in life. For us it us personal.
