What services/products/solutions do you offer?
Cebex Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a 22-year-old Electronic Security Company offering System Design & Consultancy, Procurement, Installation, Integration and Maintenance solutions for CCTV, Fire & Intrusion Alarms, and Attendance and Access Control. We also offer solutions for entrance control, perimeter protection, and residential automation.
We also offer multiple IT Enabled Security Solutions which include:
- Web Server Based Attendance Recording for employees across multiple locations, including real-time tracking of on-field staff.
- Central Monitoring Services for Fire and Intrusion Alarms, linked to the existing CCTV setup monitored 24×7 at our CMS who can report all alarm conditions, guard efficacy, process-adherence, brand hygiene etc.
- Camcheck – our unique CCTV Remote Health Monitoring services to check, monitor and report (real time and exception based) on health of CCTV systems anywhere in the world.
- Vision Based AI & Video Analytics designed in a bespoke fashion to solve any security and / or operational issues.
What are the challenges your company comes across and how do you address them?
The biggest challenge in today’s market is to stay true to your core design-beliefs and offer what one genuinely believes to be the best solution to the client, regardless of the price-points or stop-gap solutions the competition provides, or the profit margins on products that may not be the perfect fit for the client. We stay away from the temptation of designing and suggesting solutions that are cheap for the client, or more profitable for us. Our willingness to lose the odd client in pursuit of this level of sincerity has led to a lot of repeat and referral-based business, which are the best testimonials a Company can ever receive.
As the founder/CEO, what is your opinion on the current landscape of startup culture in India?
Most of us see the handful of success stories among startups and get starry-eyed, not realizing that there are hundreds of such stories that fell by the wayside. Being disruptive, and consequently profitable in the short-term, is great. But “Value-add” has to continue to be the CORE belief of one’s business model. This pure “valuation game” that drives startups today is detrimental to the technology industry in the long term.
In light of your proven industry expertise, how do you sustain your company’s competency in a cut-throat market?
Like I said before, we stay true to our design beliefs and service commitments. This culture of “Customer First” permeates from the top down to each and every employee of the Company. As cliched as it sounds, I am firm in the belief that profit will ALWAYS be a by-product of customer satisfaction.
We ensure that the client always gets some additional value in having opted for CEBEX. According to you, how important is it to be updated with technology as per your industry sector?
At the rate technology is changing, one would not even be a part of the tech industry anymore if one didn’t update one’s knowledge. A lot of our technical updates come from technology partners who keep updating us, but be it management or the entire technical team, training, exhibition visits, road shows and networking to build a stronger technical base are always encouraged at CEBEX.

How do you strategise on scaling your company in the future?
At this point of time and with the market scenario as it is, to be honest, we are more in consolidation mode than anything else. I’m sure things will look up in the mid-term or the long-term. At that time, we have some ideas to introduce some innovative subscription-based AI solutions. I will probably be in a better position to share launch and marketing related details when market-conditions are more favourable. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it happens sooner than later.
