Offerings that Relax You
Treatments at IVAC:
One of IVAC’s main purification therapies is the five fundamental cleaning methods given by Ayurveda, which helps eliminate deep seated stress and pollutants from the physiology while harmonising the doshas. These are the principles of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which control all physiological and psychological activities in the body and mind. IVAC provides both standard and customised products. There is detoxification, rejuvenation, stress management, weight management, women’s care, and disease-specific programmes available.
Panchakarma at IVAC:
Indus Valley Ayurveda Center provides complete Panchakarma treatments, which are traditional scientific techniques for removing accumulated physical poisons known as ama. Ama can be caused by environmental factors such as exposure to carcinogenic products and vapors, first and second-hand cigarette smoke, excess recreational and allopathic drugs, electromagnetic radiation, ingestion of toxic foods and drinks can be produced within the body as a result of partly digested dietary residue and stress.
Panchakarma’s major goal is to cleanse the body’s big and tiny channels known as shrotas, eliminate toxins from the tissues and organs, and fully revitalise the physiology, mind, emotions, and soul.
This comprehensive cleansing regimen aids in the prevention of disease and the slowing of the ageing process. It is also used to treat allergies, obesity, chronic tiredness, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, digestive issues, elimination difficulties, arthritis, sexual and reproductive abnormalities, and mental imbalances.
Panchakarma is traditionally performed in a residence under the watchful supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner. A series of internal and exterior purification therapies are performed over a period of 7 to 28 days or longer, depending on the health state. Panchakarma therapies use five or more holistic procedures with no negative side effects to eliminate toxic ama from lymph, blood, fat, muscle, bone, bone marrow, sperm, and ovum. Panchakarma therapies, in reality, have beneficial aftereffects such as improved energy, enhanced physical mobility, increased happiness, and higher sense of well-being.
Aside from having a physical substance in the body, ama can also have a vibrational aspect. Trauma, war, and other events that lead to post-traumatic stress syndrome and emotional and mental imbalances produce vibrational ama. Special treatments and counselling are offered over time to alleviate severe stress and restore one’s ability to operate normally.
Nothing in allopathic medicine or other indigenous cultures compares to the intricacy and depth of Ayurvedic Medicine’s cleansing procedures. This ancient Indian discipline offers considerable detail and knowledge that has been time-proven for efficacy over millennia.
At IVAC, panchakarma begins with a consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner who will do an examination, pulse diagnosis, and health history. To soften the impurities and prepare the physiology to move toxins out, a series of therapies and internal cleansing procedures with suggested herbal decoctions will be recommended. Following the completion of this preliminary phase, you will be subjected to a series of body treatments tailored to your specific situation in order to continue to dislodge and transport the toxins out.
Depending on what your health goals are, you will be recommended choice detox procedures that could include the following:
- Vamana – a guided emesis therapy to remove excess Kapha and stagnant emotions (earth and water)
- Virechana – purgation therapy for removing excess toxins associated with Pitta (fire and water)
- Basti – a mild herbal enema that aids in the elimination of toxins for all doshas.
- Nasya is a medicated sinus and head therapy that removes impurities through the nose’s canal
- Raktamokshana – This is occasionally used for diabetic ulcers and sores that are not healing correctly. The ancient procedure of using leeches or venipuncture is administered in combination with other treatments
A number of other panchakarma therapies, such as specialised massages, shirodhara, bastis, and a range of herbal paste and oil treatments, may also be advised. IVAC has created an optimum environment to support the purification procedure so that detoxification is complete and as comfortable as possible. In an ideal mild tropical environment, comfortable in-residence accommodations and Ayurvedic meals are provided, allowing for optimum benefit.
