Shibashis brought up in a green city of Bengal called – Chittaranjan. Since high school, he got inclined to learn and read Swami Vivekananda, which eventually became guideline for his rest part of the life. Since school level, he only wanted to be different and do different, that reflected in his career where he started journey as a courier boy (Hotline courier, BB Ganguly Street, Kolkata).

He used to distribute letters door to door on the street of Salt Lake of Kolkata. His passion for human body, mind, emotion, and spiritual levels pushed him to enter the wellness industry. As soon he completed his physical therapy course, he got opportunity to work at Touch and Glow, swabhumi.

His eagerness to work with Naturopathy brought him opportunity to work with the finest wellness centre of Kolkata – Sanjeeva. With his sparks of being different, he quickly moved up as trainer, so his leadership journey started since 2004. He had the hunger to do more, reach high, and explore human potentiality. So, he did not stop being a trainer. He left the job and opted for Yoga teachers training, and then the new era started.

He became Yoga teacher for southeast Asia’s best hospitality chain – Taj Group. From Goa to Mauritius to Maldives, he was with Taj group for near three years. While with Yoga teachings, he was developing his management and leadership skills. There is a saying that ‘when you are ready universe will give you an opportunity’, so it happened.

He got opportunity to work with the best brand of middle east- Jumeirah as wellbeing consultant deputed at Dubai’s best wellness centre – TALISE. There he started growing day by day as a leader because he took up three management roles on shoulder along with basic responsibilities as wellbeing consultant.

His mind set to do different was always there. By 2013, he had begun work on a pre-opening project in Moscow with PFRU university to build an institution of oriental medicine. As per his plan to come back to mother land, India, he was still contouring the world. He moved to India during 2014 with Hyatt Group. After successful two years, he got a call from the founder of IVAC group, Mysore, to lead the hardcore authentic ayurvedic brand. He opted for it as his growth mindset and tune of ‘Do Different to Get Different’ still alive within him.

He informs that, though his career is based on one aspect, his quick mastery of people management art brought him success. He says, 85% of business management secret is hidden in the art of people management. Early in his career, he was fortunate to have good mentors, and being a quick learner, he adopted those best skills, which many career seekers does not focus on.

His passion is to help people achieve their target of life. Shibashis is a master/guru in this art. So, under his leadership company and employees saw tremendous growth within a short span of time.

Now with IVAC Ayurveda group, he is analysing business only with numbers and developing people to lead culture change. It has been his hobby as leader. His formula is – right decision at right time, right people in right place, right product to right market segment in right price. He innovates through balanced and logic keeping goal driven approach.

He is building road map for organizational transformation, exceeding owner’s expectations deconstructing businesses, leading multi-site hospitality and wellness operation, product house, innovative product launch across the globe, analysing competitors, introducing new innovative concepts of process management. Creating value proposition for people, products, and services. Hiring and mentoring future leaders, developing customer service standards and operational policies.

He is a master in the art of people management, creating blue ocean, new market penetration, delivering value through others, relentless bottom-line driver, influencing stakeholders, policy formulation, team/talent management, client delight, R&D, L&D, BD, sales marketing, negotiation. Shibashis organized many Yoga and wellness workshops for various governmental and non-governmental organizations in India and abroad. He is a passionate Yoga teacher, having Yoga followers in different parts of world.

Achieving the Dream

From childhood, Shibashis wanted to work with human body and mind. So, Yoga and Ayurveda were the perfect subject to deal with where he was able to ensure holistic healing to all people. Now, he feels that his birth was just for this work only.

It affected the business same as others, but by changing focus on right five things as a leader, Shibashis made the organization overcome those challenges.
