HFCL Advances from BSNL, RailTel APO Boost of ₹ 448 Crore

HFCL progressed by 2.34% to ₹ 80.95 as the company revealed it received the Advance Purchase Orders (APO) aggregating to approximately ₹ 447.81 crores from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and RailTel Corporation of India.

HFCL mentioned that it received an advance purchase order worth ₹ 341.26 crores from BSNL for installation, commissioning, operation, supply, and maintenance of CUPS BNG, i.e., control plane user plane separation broadband network gateway, associated subscriber policy manager with authentication platform on turnkey basis. The order execution time specified in the purchase order is 240 days. BSNL portal is one of the largest PSUs offering a comprehensive range of telecom services.

The second APO, HFCL bagged worth ₹106.55 crores, is from RailTel Corporation of India (RailTel) towards installation, testing, supply, commissioning, integration with existing infra, operation, and maintenance of IP-based Video Surveillance System (VSS) on 108 railway stations for Indian Railways, being covered under RailTel’s western region. This purchase order mentioned an execution period of 180 days.
