The restrictions imposed after the Covid-19 pandemic has weakened the economy of the world. Inflation is ticking at the highest rate due to lockdown in major parts of the Asian countries and it is affecting the businesses there.

A survey by Bloomberg estimates that the basis points in China will reach to 80 by 2022, which is highest in Asia. The biggest price fall is seen in the Philippines.

Inflation in Asia is likely to be below 4% by 2020. Whereas the price gains in India and Sri Lanka are expected to reach 4.7%. India is experiencing the similar cost-push as China.
