Talking about Flipkart’s 10th anniversary, CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said, “Flipkart created the e-commerce market in India when it started in 2007, and millions of customers from smaller towns and villages have benefitted by shopping with us over the years. Our innovative programs such as consumer finance, delivery and installation of large electronics, and product exchange have made great products affordable and accessible.”

Not so far behind, rival Amazon has announced its ‘Great India Sale’ between May 11 to May 14 saying that deals will see ‘never-seen-before-prices’, The Economic Times reported. Amazon’s deals will be spread across all its categories.
Additionally, there are many exchange-offers as well as cashback offers on bank cards, on both Flipkart and Amazon. The cashback offers range from 5 percent to 15 percent depending on the types of cards which are used for purchase.
