While sharing his five ideas of how to ensure equitable and sustainable prosperity for all, Mr Ambani said, “Poverty rate in India had declined to 1.38 billion from 880 million.”
He added, “India’s has become world’s 5th largest economy as its GDP has grown from $266 billion in 1991 to more than its 10 times now. Our industries and services, infrastructure, expressways, and airports are world class now. Now, Indians don’t have to wait for years to get a mobile phone, gas connections, etc. In last three decades we have earned the right to dream big. By 2051, India can transform into one of the world’s prospered countries, with its stable economy. India can celebrate its hundredth anniversary in 2047 as one of the tops three riches countries with China and America.”
