Autocar India has revealed that Tata Motors is working on a new variant of Nexon EV. This version is set to be a long-range version, which will come with a battery capacity of 40kWh. Tata Motors is planning to sell this new variant along with the current variant that has a battery size of 30.2 kWh.
Rather than selling this new variant in a separate segment, Tata Motors plans to sell this alongside the current variant. This will affect the pricing and the new Nexon EV will be priced higher than the current varient.
The new variant will be given the users a longer battery life and will have reduced boot space. Along with that with more battery size the driving range will also increase from 312 km to 400 km.
