AG&P, Hindustan LNG to Sign a MoU for building a New LNG Import Terminal in Andhra Pradesh

AG&P (Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Company), a global player for LNG solutions, has inked a deal with Hyderabad-based Hindustan LNG, to supply tolled gas to power stations in East Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh.
Under the agreement, AG&P will be providing an integrated solution to deliver re-gasified LNG through the new LNG import terminal. AG&P will also fully design and build the port in Andhra Pradesh.
The MoU was signed at the Partnership Summit 2017, held at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in the presence of AP Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu. The MoU has resulted to a fully integrated solution for delivering tolled gas in India, including designing, financing, construction, operations and maintenance of the new terminal, which would ensure a reliable and low-cost supply to the power producers, cold storage, fertilizer plants and other industries in Andhra Pradesh and other markets along the east coast.
AG&P will also be responsible for designing and building all the essential facilities for the import terminal, including a mooring system with floating storage, re-gasification terminal, related utilities and the provision of tolled gas to power plants and other users. AG&P will also carry out any required conversion works, upon commissioning, ongoing operations and maintenance activities.
