The net inflows of equity mutual funds dropped considerably in June, the lowest in four years. The net equity fund inflows were ₹241 crores at the month, according to AMFI data. The industry last saw such weak numbers with net inflows of ₹320 crores in June 2016. Poor influxes occurred in March 2016. In May 2020, equity mutual funds reported their net inflows of ₹5.257 crores.
SIPs also saw the monthly output decline slightly. In June, the mutual funds raised by the SIPs were ₹7,927.11 crores, compared with ₹8,123.03 crores in May.
Net outflows worth ₹1778 crore were recorded in multi-cap mutual funds, net outflows of ₹213 crores were recorded in large-cap and value funds saw negative inflows of ₹136 crores in June.
Total equity inflows stood at ₹13,760 crores and total disbursements totaled ₹113,520 crores. Gross reimbursements were 74% higher than last month.
According to AMFI numbers, net inflows of ₹2,862 crore net debt collectives were significantly less than net inflows of ₹63,666 crores last month.
Net outflows of $44,226 crore were reported by liquid funds in June.
Net assets under administration were ₹25.49 lakh crore on June 30th. The month’s cumulative AUM was ₹26.07 lakh crore.
Gold ETFs saw net inflows of 494 crore vs. 815 crores in May.
