India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki announced an extension of service, warranty, and extended warranty, in relief for its customers. In a regulatory filing, the company announced this extension till 30th June 2020 for the vehicles whose services, warranty and extra warranty will expire between March 15th to April 30th, 2020.
The company said, “For customer vehicles, whose free service, warranty and extended warranty are scheduled to end in the period from March 15 to April 30 are now being extended to June 30, 2020.”
For inquiries, the call centre is available to the customers 24×7 at 1800-102-1800 (ARENA) 1800-102-6392 (NEXA).
The carmaker has entered into an agreement with the AhVa healthcare for ramping up the production of ventilators, critical care medical equipment, etc. needed in the serious cases of Covid-19.
To fight the pandemic, the company will also be helping to manufacture masks and protective clothing.
