Mr. P.L. Mehta, Managing Director of Neotia Healthcare Initiative Limited, has more than thirty Years of professional experience in Academics, Manufacturing and Healthcare. He is also the Vice Chairman of the hospitality division of Ambuja Neotia, Director of Genome – The Fertility Centre, Director of Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre & CEO and Vice Chairman of Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Childcare Centre, Park Hospitals Ltd.
Mr. Mehta is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and also a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He owns a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Kansas State University, the USA in the year of 1986 with specialization in marketing. He is educated at the La Martiniere School, Kolkata, graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata & obtained his Post Graduate degree in Accountancy from the University of Calcutta. Simultaneously during this period he did his chartered accountancy and company secretaryship followed by his Law degree from the University of Calcutta.
Mr. Mehta has been associated with the Ambuja Neotia Group since 1994, and his first assignment was heading the Corporate Affairs & Finance in Ambuja Cements.
Subsequently, the group forayed into healthcare, and he became the CEO of Bhagirathi Neotia Women and Child Care Centre and went on to expand the healthcare business as it is today. Subsequently, he accepted the opportunity to head Neotia Healthcare (NHIL).
Mr. Mehta is also associated with the Association of Hospitals of Eastern India [AHEI] as Vice-President & also with the Healthcare Subcommittee of CII where he plays an active role.
