One-Day Workshop on EXIM | Insights Success

August 8, 2018 – GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research organized a One-Day Workshop on EXIM (Export-Import) Management by Dr. Sanjiv Mittal, Dean and Professor, Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi on July 25, 2018 for PGDM Batch 2017-19. This workshop was designed with the objective to equip the students with the recent compliance related to Export-Import Management in India. GLBIMR has also introduced a Value Added Course on Export-Import Management which will be guided by Dr. Sanjeev Mittal.
Dr. Urvashi Makkar shared that this workshop will familiarize students with basic import and export procedures and technical terminologies of EXIM Management. She expressed that the workshop will enable the students to emerge as global professionals with an understanding of International Business and its complexities. Dr. Sanjeev Mittal shared the basic procedures and plans for starting the Export-Import Business. He gave an overview of India’s current Foreign Trade Policy and different types of incentives available to the exporters. He highlighted that under the Director General of Foreign Trade, Government of India, the Export-Import initiatives in India are the indispensable component of the B-school curriculum.
