Roshni Nadar Malhotra, the chairperson of HCL Technologies, is the richest woman in India with ₹84,330 crore wealth.
Falguni Nayar, founder, and CEO of Nykaa surpassed Biocon’s Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw to become the richest self-made woman in India with ₹57,520 crore wealth, according to the reports.
According to the third edition of ‘Kotak Private Banking Hurun – Leading Wealthy Women List’ which is compiled based on the net worth of women as on 31 December 2021, Roshni Nadar Malhotra retained her top spot for the second year consecutively.
With a wealth of ₹84,330 crores, Roshni Nadar Malhotra tops the list for the second time in a row. Under her able leadership, HCL purchased seven IBM products worth₹13,740 crore which is said to be the largest deal in the company’s history.
According to the press release, the 2021 edition of the richest women in India concentrated especially on women who have established themselves at higher peaks of the corporate world. The current ₹300 crores as a cut-off as compared to ₹100 crores in 2020, saw twenty-five new women added to the list, a very promising happening.
