Tata Motors will soon launch CNG versions of its popular passenger vehicles Tiaogo, Tigor, Nexon, Altroz, and Punch. The launch of Tata Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG is expected to be available in the Indian markets in the next couple of days.
The delivery at dealerships of CNG-powered Tata Tiago has already begun. This car will be distinguished from the regular petrol-powered Tiago by an ‘i-CNG’ badge. However, the finishing, styling and equipment will be like the original Tata Tiago.
The soon to be released CNG version of Tata Tiago will feature a 1.2 litre three-cylinder engine which is similar to the petrol engine of the same passenger car. Along with that it offers a 5-speed manual.
Keeping all the similar features in mind of Tata Tiago, the CNG counterpart will be priced ₹50,000 to ₹70,000 more than the Tata Tiago.
