Myntra, a Walmart-owned apparel store, expects 5.5 million unique customers at its next Big Fashion Festival (BFF), representing a 1.8x increase in traffic over the last edition. This year’s edition of the big fashion event is expected to witness a 4x increase in demand over BAU (business-as-usual) and a 1.6x increase over the previous festive season, with tier-2 and 3 markets contributing 40%. The platform’s technical capabilities are designed to accommodate a million concurrent users at peak. This edition is projected to attract 1.1 million first-time shoppers.

Myntra’s festive season 360-degree advertising campaign, containing over 100 regional and national celebrities, and famous influencers, is anticipated to reach 150 million people. It is also capitalising on the Big Fashion Festival’s confluence with excellent relationships with T-20 teams RCB and CSK to expand its reach even further.

“We are extremely pleased and eagerly waiting for the beginning of the leading edition of the Big Fashion Festival, which is one of the nation’s biggest festival shopping carnivals for beauty, lifestyle, and fashion,” said Amar Nagaram, CEO of Myntra. “An event of this size is also expected to offer a boost to our ecosystem, MSMEs, particularly craftsmen, and our Kirana store partners,” added the CEO of Myntra.
