Deepinder Goyal, founder and chief executive officer of Zomato, has made an investment in the Park+ app. The app is made for car users and was founded by Amit Lakhotia in 2019. Some of the core colleagues of Goyal at Zomato also have invested in the Park+ app.
“The investment made by Deepinder in Park+ is a sign of confidence in our plans to scale up our operations and build an ecosystem for car owners in India. Car owners are a vital, and underserved, part of the Indian company, and we at Park+ are on a mission to bring delight back to car ownership, ” Mr. Lakhotia stated.
The Park+ app offers services like FASTag management, car insurance, and automated vehicle access control systems in malls, corporate parks, and residential apartments.
The app owners had raised $25 million in a Series B funding round, which was co-led by Sequoia Capital India in November 2021.
