~ Shri. Narendra Modi

National Skill Development Corporation under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship kick-started the IndiaSkills Regional Competition 2018 in Jaipur on 24th May 2018.
More than 250 youth across 5 states made IndiaSkills West 2018 a superb hit. The competition is envisaged to create opportunities at the regional level and selects the best talent to represent India at WorldSkills International Competition 2019.
Akkado was granted this colossal opportunity to conceptualize and execute the IndiaSkills West 2018 and support the youth in showcasing their talent and skills at such a platform. It was a privilege for Akkado to have been the official event agency to manage and organize the 3 days event. Adding to the honour, Akkado seamlessly managed the ceremony, which was inaugurated by a skilled Bricklayer and winner of Medallion of Excellence at the WorldSkills International Competition 2017.
Jaipur, regardless of its skin pinching heat, saw unbelievable enthusiasm and passion from the competitors and visitors. Latest technology of RFID mapping at registration and live streaming across the two competition venues helped us put a number to both offline and online participation by the visitors.

Abhishek Sharma, Co-Founder, Akkado said Akkado is privileged to manage and organize one of India’s biggest regional skills competition and exhibition, IndiaSkills West 2018. We would like to thank NSDC for putting their trust and faith in us to conceptualize and execute this monumental event. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with NSDC, and to continue our endeavors together. I would also like to thank the team at Akkado for giving their best and putting in all their efforts to make this event a grand success.
25th May 2018, or Day 2 of IndiaSkills West 2018, began on a very high note with the kick-start of the main competition. Even the walls of JECC and BSDU were left speechless with inspiring sights of an 11-year old participating in Electronics and multiple female competitors in skills like Wall & Floor Tiling and Electrical Installations.
All is well, that ends well is a true reflection to witness the West becoming India’s Best. The closing ceremony on 26th May 2018, was the highlight of Day 3, with the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Jaipur, Shri. Ramcharan Bohra. He not only felicitated the winners of the competition but also shared a few experiences with everyone, and boosted the youth’s morale for the upcoming Nationals and International competition.
Yet another high point of the closing ceremony was the closing film created by Akkado’s very own production team. Catch the glimpses of Akkado’s success story with IndiaSkills West 2018, Jaipur here:
