Non-profit organization GiveIndia has joined hands with OYO Care to launch a fundraising campaign known as #ShelterForAll. With this collaboration, both the companies aim to raise Rs 10 crore so that they can offer isolation rooms and quarantine centers for Covid-19 positive patients in need.

Under this initiative, three dedicated OYO Care properties will be used as quarantine centers (with meals) in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Gurgaon/ Delhi NCR. These centers will be available to symptomatic as well asymptomatic Codi-19 patients during their recovery periods.

Atul Satija, the CEO of GiveIndia opines that not only critical patients are running out of oxygen and beds, but those who are positive and mildly symptomatic also seriously require spaces to recover.

He further states that many people in the country lack the means to find a shelter when recovering. They either isolate themselves at home or can’t afford the facilities available outside their homes.

GiveIndia is currently also running various other campaigns to boost oxygen supply and to support the families of patients who lost their lives to Covid-19. The non-profit organization is positive that many other partners such as OYO Care will come forward to help them in helping others in need.
