India restricts tourists from UK, EU and Turkey

Owing to the rising numbers of the coronavirus patients in the country has made the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a statement that banned any tourists coming from the United Kingdom, Europe and Turkey, into the country. This ban would be effective from 18th of March and all the airlines have strict orders to not allow any passengers from any of these countries coming to India.

This new travel law would be effective from the 18th of March to the 31st of March. The health ministry had announced a conference for the novel Coronavirus. There have been new cases reported as of this latest week, cases being from Odisha, Jammu Kashmir and Kerala. These cases have taken the total toll to 114 cases in the Country.

The Health Ministry has asked people to abstain from any sort of social contact and stay at home. Gyms, pools, and any other social gathering has been restricted until the 31st of March. Most of the functioning offices have been given a work from home and schools have been shut down while promoting online education. Non-essential travel should be avoided and restaurants should follow proper hygiene and hand washing protocol.
