Paris based Consulting firm Capgemini is set to acquire Chicago based Lyons consulting group. The deal has been signed but the amount has not been disclosed yet. Capgemini officials said that they will disclose all the details related to acquisition including financial aspects in the next few weeks.
French multinational Capgemini is an established global leader in Digital and Cloud services which currently represent 35% of its total revenues. The latest acquisition will help Capgemini in the fields of digital customer experience and digital commerce for clients’ customer journeys as well.
Lyon consulting is one of the largest independent digital commerce firms in the world, with a deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and other commerce platforms. Lyon consulting has a strong manpower of about 300 people across the globe.

In the recent past, Capgemini had acquired Itelios, a European Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions provider. This is Capgemini’s fourth major acquisition in the digital services sector this year after it purchased Idean and TCube Solutions.
According to latest reports, apart from cloud services, the French multinational is also investing heavily in Artificial intelligence, Robotic process automation and cognitive technologies.
