MapmyIndia Merges with Aeris for Internet of Things

An Internet of Things (IoT) service provider company “Aeris” has made a partnership with mapping firm MapmyIndia to propose geo-spatial intelligence based IoT solutions in India by leveraging the respective areas of core competency.
The global IoT market is predicted to cross $200 billion by the year 2020. The IoT market in India stood at $5.6 billion, with approximately 200 million connected devices in 2016. This is projected to grow to $15 billion, with 2.7 billion devices by 2020 offering a significant opportunity for technology and service providers.
