Omega acquires US-based healthcare analytics firm WhiteSpace_insights_success

Omega Healthcare Management Services has acquired a US-based healthcare analytics company, WhiteSpace Health  for an undisclosed sum.
After this acquisition, Omega Healthcare gets a development facility in Hyderabad and access to employees. However, the company did not disclose the number of employees working in the WhiteSpace Health’ Hyderbad facility or the size of the acquisition.
WhiteSpace Health which provides data analytics technology, claims that its technology improves financial performance along with better patient outcomes. With the largest pool of medical coders outside the US, Omega Healthcare is an offshore provider of healthcare outsourcing services.
Omega Healthcare provides solutions that help healthcare providers reduce costs, improve productivity, improve practice engagement, and also meet the reporting of core measures.
“The new suite of technology services available from WhiteSpace Health’s repertoire is what many of our clients have been seeking,” said Gopi Natarajan, CEO and co-founder of Omega Healthcare.
Omega Healthcare which is privately held with 30-35 percent year-on-year growth, and 12,000 employees, handles healthcare-related work such as Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), medical coding and related work for large US-based companies.
The firm was founded in 2004, with presence spread across Bengaluru, Tiruchi and Bhimavaram, Chennai, and Manila & Cebu in the Philippines.
