Massive investments were promised by three big businesses, including Qualcomm, during the visit of Telangana’s IT minister, KT Rama Rao, in the United States. Qualcomm announced that it would build its second-largest facility in Hyderabad, with a five-year investment of Rs 3,904.55 crore.
The complex is now under construction, and the facility will be operational by October of this year. The software and semiconductor company informed Rama Rao, visiting the United States, that this plant will employ approximately 8700 employees. The software giant will join a group of corporations that have their largest campuses outside of the United States in Hyderabad.
After meeting with Qualcomm’s Chief Financial Officer Akash Palkiwala, Vice Presidents James Jean, Lakshmi Rayapudi, Parag Agase, and Director Dev Singh, Rama Rao, the announcement was made.
