He shares that his journey in law commenced with watching his father being surrounded by people that matter. “My father inspired me to read law,” he recalls. So Shreyans enrolled for BA. LLB (Hons) at the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, achieved his degree in 2008.
During his graduation, Shreyans did multiple internships with various renowned lawyers, including Prateek Jalan, Advocate Supreme Court of India (March – April 2006); M/s Karanjawala & Company, Law Firm, New Delhi (April – May 2006); Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India (March – April 2007); and Singhvi & Co, Law Firm, Kolkata (October 2007 – March 2008).
Armed with a degree from a prestigious law school, Shreyans embarked on a path that would lead him to reshape the landscape of legal practice in New Delhi. “After graduating, I started my practice as a Counsel under the tutelage of Mr Sabysachi Chowdhury, Sr. Advocate,” says Shreyans. I was also drafting legal pleadings,” says Shreyans.
After practising for about three years in New Delhi, along with a colleague Shreyans Co-founded Mehta & Singhvi Law Offices, LLP, a law firm, in May 2015. He states, “I provided legal services in civil, criminal, corporate and commercial disputes and endeavoured to build long-lasting relationships with our clients.”
In 2021, Shreyans shifted his practice out of the firm and commenced independently under Shreyans Singhvi & Associates. His team comprises seven associates, all working hard with utmost honesty and dedication.
