Efficient and excellent infrastructure is the backbone of an economy and a nation. It puts the foundation of smooth communication and opens doors for endless business opportunities. However, to ensure smooth infrastructural facilities, it is necessary to employ competent service providers, who deliver the best services.
This role is successfully played by the most reliable infrastructure management providers. They use cutting-edge technology and innovative procedures to deliver the best services, while confirming judicious management of resources. One such leading name in the industry which is making rapid strides with innovation and excellence is none other than Sygitech. Established in 2017 at Noida, the company provides clients with the necessary technology and support, so that the clients can concentrate better on their business.
The person leading Sygitech from the front is none other than Aniruddh Singh, the Founder of the company. With more than 17 years of experience in the tech domain, he is an expert of scaling from few hundred users to millions of users, architecture design of databases, server and network infrastructure, software architecture, web services, and so on.
In an Interview with Insights Success, Mr Aniruddh shares about the inception and the journey of Sygitech, its various services, its plans, and so on. Following are the highlights of the interview:
- Describe about your company in detail.
Sygitech is a managed IT services company, which stands to simplify, optimize, and transform IT needs for customers seeking IT infrastructure services across different verticals.
Our experts have deep domain knowledge, and we strongly believe in the power of open-source technologies to design scalable and high-performance environments for several start-ups and brands in different verticals including e-commerce, finance, healthcare, travel, music, and manufacturing.
- Brief us about yourself and shed some light on your professional tenure.
I was always passionate about technologies and wanted to start a company which would focus more on problem solving in a simple way. Initially, I started with the assistance of my better half and got introduced to clients through professional references. Post which, I worked towards building a small team and trained them in multiple domains. The idea was to help people learn, within the team as well as our customer teams. We wanted to build customized solutions for our customers which would result in the overall performance of the product and the business growth. We made robust products and an infrastructure that is highly available and scalable. The objective has always been towards fast service delivery within minutes rather than hours.
- What inspired you to enter the infrastructure management service providers’ industry?
Sygitech aims to solve all sorts of infrastructure problems under one roof and works towards providing services in all areas, be it IT consulting, services, or development.
Accepting challenges and working on simplistic design to beat industry trends was something I always was passionate about. Formation of Sygitech put forward some of the most challenging and compelling ideas to drive a company. I started this journey alone and gradually got introduced with like-minded people who ended up joining me later. One of the driving factors was the contributions from my old colleagues, friends, and working professionals. In the last 2 years, covid pandemic and demonetization gave rise to global slow down and survival for a start-up like us became paramount. But we managed to survive and made considerable profits. This year, we anticipate the growth by 400% and expect this to be a result of trust of companies on remote infrastructure management.
- What kind of services do you provide to your clients?
Primarily, we offer managed IT, development, and infrastructure migration services. Consulting is the core in these domains. We design and create performance driven IT infrastructure, provide database management and performance tuning services, along with web application development and Android/IOS app development. One of our core expertise is making cost effective and secure infrastructure. Data protection, disaster management, and business continuity planning have been recently added in the services portfolio.
- What challenges have you faced while establishing the company and how did you transform those challenges into opportunities?
There are many to discuss. When you start a company, the first challenge is the brand identity. Every year merely 2-5% of start-ups survive and managing funds, hiring the right skillset, and winning the confidence of the customers are some common sets of challenges for a start-up. We have been lucky to get many customers through references, which helped us to acquire more clients. However, the key was quality of delivery and our dedication to help customers beyond defined scope.
Covid brought varied challenges and new opportunities. We quickly revamped teams and explored opportunities to expand the business across geographies. We continued helping companies in their digital transformation journey in parallel.
- How was your company affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and what measures did you take to shorten the damages, while helping your clients and maintaining the safety of your employees?
We didn’t see much impact on the employee front. We were among the first companies to start working from home and have been continuing with it. We believe in employee safety first and promote ample flexibility. Freedom to present ideas, maintaining work life balance, work from anywhere policy and promoting planning and execution is in the company’s DNA. We believe in collaboration, trust, and empowerment of employees.
- What would you like to advice the young generation of entrepreneurs and enthusiasts who want to make a mark in the infrastructure management service providers’ industry?
Identify how we can help the community by speeding up service delivery and create innovative but simple ways to adapt to new technologies by putting minimum effort and time. Ease of use, agility in what we offer, and AI enabled services with minimum human interaction would help scale in upcoming markets.
- Where do you see your company in the future? Kindly tell us about your strategies for scaling your company.
We have received good responses from our customers and prospects. The credit would go to agile teams we create and the speed at which we scale and deliver projects. Consultancy services are our main focus areas to start with. With companies around the world looking to use integrated products to reduce IT spends and optimize system performance, this space needs good attention.
This strategy nominated us and finally won us a place in the prestigious TECHTORS award 2018 by BW Business world. In the year 2020, CIOReview magazine recognized us with one of the top 20 Cloud Consultants. We attribute this recognition to quality products we deliver and fast time to market initiatives within the company.
Partnership also plays a big role in brand recognition, business expansion, and winning customer trust. E2E Networks recognized us as their premium partners for cloud services, which has given us ample opportunities to help their customers to easily set up and maintain the cloud workloads before and during the Covid pandemic.
- What is the current industrial scenario of the infrastructure management service providers’ industry?
AI, big data, ML, augmented reality, and serverless architecture have immense potential of sweeping away the existing way systems work. This will change how we look at infrastructure services and providers. Cloud computing gives a head start for any such technology in terms of scale, flexibility, computing resources, and availability. As in olden days, automobiles made a change in how people commute, changing habits of travel, these technologies will impact all domains, be it IT enabled services, scientific research, pharma, or peer to peer communication.
Multiple as-a-service platforms will emerge reducing the necessity of owning and managing infrastructure and focus only on innovation. This will change the entire infrastructure ecosystem and customer acquisition will depend on how fast you adapt to technological change and innovate to meet customer demands.
