This Fitness App Raises $200K from a Group of Angel Investors

Fitso, a health and fitness app has raised $200,000 (Rs 1.3 crore) of angel funding from a clutch of angel investors namely Sujeet Kumar (ex-president, Flipkart), Yashish Dhaiya (CEO, Policy Bazaar), Bhupinder (CEO, INtelenet) and a few more. All these angel investors came together with the help of Let’s Venture to finance Fitso, and they have also invested in multiple successful startups like Nest Away, Grofers etc. Fitness app firso is run by Gurgaon-based Jogo Jogo Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Fitso was launched particularly for making make fitness accessible and affordable for everyone, so that users could do their routine work-out anytime-anywhere, eliminating the need for a gym membership or any expensive equipment.
Fitso plans to use this funding efficiently by investing extensively in Product Development, growing its team strength, making the app more engaging and user friendly. Furthermore, the team has also launched multiple offline training courses for swimming, running and triathlon in Delhi NCR and building a team of best professional coaches to provide personal training.
“Fitso has become a brand name in health and fitness market after getting ‘Best App of the year 2016’ by Apple, helping three lakh users getting fit in just less than six months. We already have break-even and hitting the route of profitability providing personal fitness and nutrition training to users across India,” said co-founder Fitso, Rahool Sureka.

Fitso application is available for both Android mobile and Apple iOS. It offers professional guidance for weight gain, weight loss and other fitness activities. And introducing personal trainers and dietitian associated to you throughout your fitness plans is the new rebellion brought in by Fitso.
With the help of this app, you can hire a personal coach at a minimal cost starting from Rs. 500 per month. Getting a personal nutritionist and a fitness trainer is a dream for so many people since their cost is very high and also there is commitment involved.
