Hitesh Rathi, the Founder of Aadvik Foods is a B.Tech from Punjab Engineering College, hails from Bikaner, Rajasthan, had a keen eye for the innovative idea. He was lured by the business of camel milk. A young and enthusiastic personality of Hitesh makes it possible to manage such a unique business plan and to make it a successful one, especially in India, a country where people are too skeptical about it. He believes in having a positive attitude and always has the focus for the long-term vision, and he is not wrong in his endeavor.
Soon after a few months, Hitesh was joined by Shrey Kumar as the CoFounder of Aadvik Foods. He has done B. Tech from Delhi College of Engineering and PGP from Indian School of Business. He believes in a mix of democratic and autocratic leadership to manage teams. He is always optimistic towards his business and follows business ethics as the principal guide for everyday dealings.
Experiments to Make a Difference
The business of milk is not an easy one, and that is to of an animal, the entire country is unaware of the goodness of it. The preserving and maintaining its health grade becomes a challenge, as the distribution of camel milk in the entire country and outside is difficult as the production part is strictly confined to only one or two states. Aadvik Foods dealt the issue of preserving the highly perishable product. “We sell it in frozen condition. Although we have been able to set up cold chain logistics in major cities for frozen milk, we are able to deliver Freeze Dried Camel Milk Powder to each and every corner of the country.”
Hitesh accepts the second biggest challenge was to break the misconception and paving the way for business. People of India are still skeptical about consuming camel milk, where it is actually of great health benefits. The team of the brand is focusing greatly on increasing the awareness to get positive results in diseases like the Autism, Diabetes, Lactose Intolerance, and Height growth etc.
Within 2.5 years we have been able to create a new market in the country for such a unique product. From one to two to now a team of more than 35 people in a bootstrapped startup is what we think we have achieved best so far and obviously being profitable also. Positive feedbacks from almost every customer have been a major confidence booster for our team.”
