With the focus on Holistic Development of the students, GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research, Greater Noida successfully organized “HR Conclave 2018 – Reinventing HR in the Digital World”, on August 18, 2018 (Saturday) at its Greater Noida campus. Ceremonial Lamp lighting by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR along with the elite guests of plenary session: Mr. Sandeep Ananthanarayanan, Executive President, Planman Consulting, Mr. Sabih Kidwai, Director-Learning Solutions, Schneider Electric, Mr. Anuj Agrawal, Editor, Dialogue India and Mr. Avijit Ganguly, Country Retail Manager, Fitbit marked the inauguration of the highly intellectual event. Dr. Urvashi Makkar warmly welcomed the guests and extended gratitude for their august presence. Dr. Makkar highlighted that HR Business leaders and managers are now reinventing their roles beyond business functions to transform organizations. As the boundaries of HR have extended beyond horizons, the way HR practices are managed and run is becoming vigorous, agile and embedded with digital interventions. She shared that carrying forth the legacy of the HR Conclave – 2017, the event provided a platform for the corporate delegates and management aspirants from well-known organizations to discuss various contemporary HR practices.
