One could say all this is true about Mr. Rahul Revne, one of India’s 40 under 40 Brightest Business Leaders’ and a mentor to several MSME entrepreneurs. He has been in this field since 2009 and knows the issues and challenges of MSMEs in and out, which helps him connect effectively with existing and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Working with more than 100 enterprises as a consultant, Rahul says ‘This is just beginning. He had the experience of handling clients from loss-making companies to 2000 crore successful business transitions. In an interview with Insights Success, Rahul spoke about his personal professional journey and how he is helping businesses all over the world to make a real transformation and transition from failure to success, and his future goals including his brand consultancy company SNP Business Solutions. Rahul sir, please tell us about the saga of SNP Business Solutions since its inception.

As they say, the journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. So is the journey of SNP Business Solutions. After 12+ years of working in the consultancy industry, I embarked on the amazing journey of entrepreneurship.

Since its inception in December 2021, SNP Business Solutions has helped eight businesses to take up the journey of transformation and this is just the beginning. We started working with a loss-making company and currently have a company with a 2000 crore turnover in our portfolio.

It is with immense pleasure that I would like to mention that two of my clients have seen radical improvements and together we turned their loss-making company into one that will be reaching its break-even point within the next couple of months. This transformation is the result of combined efforts from both ends on improving systems and processes.

What was your inspiration behind venturing into the business arena?

Working as a consultant for 12+ years taught me the importance of systems and a structured framework of working. But it also showed me that out-of-the-box thinking is very essential to provide an optimum solution to the customers.

I love challenges and have a passion for problem-solving. Thus, for me starting my own venture to help businesses thrive was the best amalgamation of my passion and experience.

What were the initial challenges that you had to surmount to ensure SNP’s success rate to reach greater heights?

One of the biggest challenges that I faced was to get all the stakeholders of the client’s organization to agree on a solution and have them act on it.

Best of the plan without actions will bear no results – thus this is the most critical aspect in the success of any business.

The other challenge is language hurdles while handling clients from different parts of the country. Different industries and different companies have unique challenges and require extensive research and in-depth knowledge to be able to take the right decisions and right solutions.

What professional values and qualities do you think your clients value in you and SNP BS the most?

The most valuable quantity is the ability to trust. In consulting the client literally has to trust you with his bread and butter, thus, gaining their trust and living up to the expectations is the biggest value you can give to the client.

Secondly, continuous learning and industry knowledge are essential for the success of the client.

Also, the ability to produce results is one of the key values for which our clients have chosen us over our competitors.

What are the USPs that highlight SNP’s uniqueness in the industry you are catering to?

Consulting is mainly a reference business industry. Thus Relationship building is the key to success and that is my company’s strength.

We hand-hold the client throughout the process rather than just making the plan of action for them.

As an experienced professional, what would you like to advise the budding aspirants willing to enter the business world?

Keep upgrading – if you want to earn Cash work on KASH (knowledge, ability, skills, habits).

Keep the fire within alive. The passion with the right plan and action with take you places. Even if it’s one small step ahead – just keep moving forward in the right direction.

Be flexible – if something doesn’t work – go back – analyze and adjust the plan accordingly.

How do you envision SNP’s operations with the emerging technologies and automated tools that are revolutionizing the business world by enabling innovations?

The success of consulting lies in the successful execution of the charted plan – which needs extensive follow-ups and milestone tracking. Adopting project management software/tools allows us to scale effectively and efficiently.

Creating online platforms for knowledge exchange between our clients – so that they can enrich their knowledge.

Simple financial analysis tools and scorecards that will make it simple for clients without extensive knowledge of analysis and decision making to make informed decisions.
