Saloni Sharma is leading Talent Management & OD, Center of Excellence at Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. TCE offers various multi-disciplinary services in Design and Engineering and Project Management across several sectors. She also serves as the Human Resources Anchor for Ecofirst Services Limited, a subsidiary of TCE.
Saloni is responsible as TCE’s TM & OD Head for designing, deploying, and contributing to the creation and delivery of organization-wide strategic human capital interventions. She is responsible for alignment of OD, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and L&D initiatives with strategic and business imperatives, alongside partnering with business stakeholders to ensure integration and successful deployment of the same across TCE’s business verticals.
In her role as HR Anchor for Ecofirst Services, Saloni is responsible for designing and deploying HR strategy, overseeing end-to-end people practices, evaluating staffing needs, cascading organizational values and ethics, crafting talent development strategies, managing workforce budgets, and creating a high-performance culture.
Saloni began her career with TCE as an individual contributor in the talent management team in 2018. Since then, she gained valuable experience and knowledge in various areas of corporate HR strategy over the years. She took on more responsibilities and began leading small teams within the HR function as she advanced. This allowed her to hone her leadership abilities and learn how to manage and motivate teams effectively. She was also presented with opportunities to work on larger, more complex projects and initiatives, which expanded her horizon and understanding of the strategic importance of human capital within an organization.
Since then, her innovative thinking, her strategic inputs on talent management areas, growth mindset, and perseverance have provided her with a robust experience to lead the Talent Management function at TCE. Her areas of expertise include human resource strategy, performance management, competency frameworks, employee engagement, talent onboarding, HR transformation, and rewards and recognition.
Since joining TCE, Saloni has incubated, supported, and validated many of the most recent developments in human capital management in her function. She has driven and spearheaded numerous innovative initiatives, many of which have won awards for TCE at various forums, such as Business World, PeopleFirst HR Excellence Awards, and the World HRD Congress, to name a few.
Saloni is also a proud member of the Tata family that believes in bridging community and business goals to drive impact through TCE’s CSR initiatives and transforming opportunities for significant shared value creation in the global community. Behind the scenes, Saloni invests her time in stimulating her intellect through chess, sharing her perspective on various business challenges through several platforms, representing TCE across different forums and mentoring young professionals in the field.
