Sania Mirza to feature in the second episode of Kiska Brand Bajega, to be aired on CNBC TV18

Date: 30th July, 2019 Place: Mumbai: The series premiere of CNBC’s new show Kiska Brand Bajega featuring Deepika Padukone aired on Friday; is fast raking up the number of views on YouTube.
The show is up and running and will air its second episode this Friday involving Sania Mirza in the first segment – India’s Biggest Celebrity Brand. Sania won six Grand Slam titles in the doubles’ category and has also been a pioneer in revolutionising Tennis as a sport in India. She has been a favourite amongst Indian advertisers, endorsing more than 60 brands by now.
The show comprises of two segments, namely, India’s Biggest Celebrity Brand and Brand Adda. In the former segment, Mr. Aditya Bhat (Head – Business of Ideas), the host, interacts with celebrities about their endorsements. The second segment encompasses stalwarts of a specific domain discussing the past, present and future of their respective industries.
Sania Mirza will be seen in the first segment of the episode where she will discuss about her brand journey and share a few anecdotes. The second segment of this episode will feature some of the nation’s most influential professionals that either lead or are associated with the exponential growth of OTT platforms in India, a medium that the nation is fast falling head over heels for. The names on the panel include Sumeet Vyas, Jim Sarbh, Aparna Acharekar (Programming Head – Zee5), Uday Sodhi (Head – Sony Liv) & Bhaskar Ramesh (Group Head – FMCG, Technology, Automotive, Media & Entertainment – Google).
Talking about the need to address OTT platforms, Aditya Bhat said, “With a population of 1.3 billion people and counting, India presents a unique opportunity for OTT platforms. The business potential for such a medium is immense due to the unparalleled diversity that the country presents – content can be tailor made for the different sectors of the masses. The steady rise of such OTT platforms is proof enough to show that people have responded very well to such targeted content.”
Business of Ideas has earlier conceptualized the prominent Mujhe Haq Hai campaign with Sania Mirza. They are also the only creative agency hired by the popular action camera brand GoPro in the world, to collaborate for content creation and social media marketing. The Election Commission of India appointed Business of Ideas to spread the word amongst the masses to go out and vote for the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
The second episode of the season of Kiska Brand Bajega will air on 2nd August 2019 at 10 pm exclusively on CNBC TV-18.
