Indian leading Watch maker company, Titan has entered into an alliance with American watch manufacturing company FTS USA to assist in setting up their assembly unit. As part of the partnership, Titan also extends its support to FTS by supplying quartz movement kits and training US engineers. Titan Company CEO (Watches and Accessories), S Ravi Kant said, “we design and manufacture around 16 million watches and movements a year and happy to support American watchmaker through this new facility- helping them revive the American watch manufacturing industry,” The alliance signifies Titan’s three-decade-long expertise in watchmaking. Almost every large-scale watchmaking for the US market is carried outside America in countries such as Switzerland, China, Japan, the Philippines, and India.
The company has the technological know-how, expertise, and competence in the field of watchmaking. The company has invested in a world-class state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to produce high quality as well as complex watches. S Ravi Kant said, “Through this alliance, FTS sees an opportunity to make more classic watches and movements. This will lead to higher quality; fewer shipment delays and a better connect with the US customers”.
