Google is launching a new tool in navigation app and Google Maps to search and find the location in India smoothly. To intensify the discovery of addresses, Google has introduced the unique ‘Six Digit Plus Codes’ for locations along with the ‘City Pin Codes’.
These can be used, shared or searched by any person just typing into search option. In other words, the codes which are six characters + city code for a location will help users to find the correct address.
In the latest statement, Google says that “The codes can be used for a wide variety of reasons including Communicating the venue of a temporary event and providing an identifying location for the complicated address.”
“At Google Maps, our main objective has always been about organizing all location-related information, and making it more accessible, relevant and user-friendly for Indian users,” said Ruhela, including that in India it can be trying to achieve a given address the configuration can be interesting crosswise over regions and localities.”
Krish Vitaldevara, Product Lead, Google Maps Next Billion Users said, “We are simply beginning as we keep on building highlights and grow our organizations to make the Google Maps encounter more extensive, exact, and solid for our clients”. According to the surveys the numbers of people using Google Maps has increased up to 60% mostly covered in cities, and 55% people think Google Maps is reliable to search for locations.
Google Maps can navigate in six Indian languages including Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
