As an Assistant Manager of Human Resources at Ocwen Financial Solutions Pvt Ltd, Anu Ranganikar leads the global DEI reporting and analytics for the HR team. She reached this point and accomplished a lot, purely because of the sound guidance and support of her HR Leaders and managers at Ocwen, who have always created a conducive work environment.
After completing her under-graduation, Anu received a PPO to join an investment banking firm, yet there remained a pull towards formally delving into Human Resources. Thereby, she chose to pursue her MBA from T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, Karnataka, and, per plan, specialized in Human Resources.
Campus placements landed her a dream run of six years-eight months and counting, with Ocwen. She has donned multiple hats and contributed to HR Systems, OD, HR Operations, HR Onboarding, HR Business Partnering, and HR Analytics in various capacities. She has built a formidable repository of knowledge and experience of the multiple COEs in HR.
One of her key fortes has been the potential to learn and master new areas. Be it technology, analytics or statistics – Anu has become the go-to person for these. She has been able to intrinsically grasp the balance between the qualitative and quantitative aspects of things. This mindset has helped her seamlessly navigate through various roles and projects. Additionally, she has consistently aimed to approach all planned and unpredictable situations with composure and maturity. Anu believes in being meticulous and decisive while resolving complex issues.
With experience, she has been able to balance ideation and execution, which has been instrumental while leading key organization-wide exercises of performance management, employee engagement and well-being initiatives, in addition to her responsibilities.Â
For someone still budding in the industry, she is proud of her projects and initiatives to her credit. Anu is happy that her potential to be agile has always been recognized, and she has been consistently chosen to contribute to high-impact projects of varied complexities. Over time, she has realized that she can take on two-three tracks simultaneously and perform well towards each of them.Â
In the coming years, Anu plans to dabble into furthering tech-enabled analytical capabilities and pushing the envelope with data to improve inclusive practices.
