Raghav is an HR professional with over four years of diverse experience in compensation and benefits (including Campus hire induction and onboarding,) HR Transformation, policy formation, organization restructuring, and performance management systems. He is currently working for Cairn Oil and Gas – a leading Oil and Gas producer, as Deputy Manager – of HR, handling Compensation and Benefits and Performance Management and Total Rewards.

As an ambitious and enthusiastic HR manager, Raghav is handling day-to-day HR operations. He is also managing policies and procedures implementation by passionately streamlining human resource structures and procedures. He has experience developing and maintaining effective internal processes, handling employee-related issues, supporting hiring and retention policies, identifying problems, finding solutions, and nourishing employee satisfaction.

He is now an experienced HR Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the mining and metals industry, thanks to the various opportunities Vedanta has provided him. He possesses expertise in Management, Android Development, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and HR Analytics. He graduated from the International Management Institute – IM with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management.

At Vedanta Aluminium Limited Jharsuguda, he excelled as a manager for HR COE roles, specifically R&R, total rewards, and HR business partners. A fantastic opportunity; it provided him with end-to-end exposure to the HR function. But because he was based in a remote location in Jharsuguda, he was directly connected to employees on the ground, allowing him to learn about business and HR priorities. He learned how an engaged workforce could help a business thrive here. His performance at Vedanta Aluminium enabled him to enter Vedanta’s top talent category after attending a CEO Workshop. And after being identified as a top talent, he was allowed to enter the Oil and Gas industry and become a part of Cairn’s total rewards team as a leader in the C&B role. Oil and gas is a highly technical industry. Much of a C&B specialist’s work revolves around comprehending the complexities of various roles and their specific skill level compensation. Internal (C3) conditions are sensitive.

His major contributions at Cairn have been as a payroll specialist in defining Cairn’s payroll and C&B strategies. This includes establishing job bands, evaluating jobs, and managing performance management systems. His most recent position as HR manager entails developing and maintaining effective internal C&B and R&R processes, dealing with employee-related issues, supporting hiring and retention policies, identifying problems, finding solutions, and nurturing employee satisfaction.

In conclusion, as part of the Cairn HR team, he plays a key role in creating and delivering their HR strategy and roadmap. To help realize the vision of contributing 50% of India’s crude oil production. And reducing import dependency driven by the larger national purpose of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ Seeking to achieve national security. Through a drastic reduction in Oil and Gas imports.
