Cold-pressed is a technology that uses no heat, oxidation to extract the juices just by pressing the pulp. Blending is the process of extracting juices by breaking down all the cells of juices speeding up the oxidation process. With the aim of delivering fresh and delicious products keeping in check on health, Raw Pressery was formed by Anuj Rakyan. As the Founder and MD of the company, his aims to address the scarcity of honest & transparent products and build a brand that is genuine and authentic.
The Inception Tale
A track of events inspired Anuj for the inception of the company. Growing up as an athlete, Anuj understood the importance of eating healthy and maintaining an active lifestyle. He searched for the juices which don’t include any concentrated or preserved addictive, sugar, and color. But, all he found was pasteurized juices on the shelf, which affected nutritional value of juice. Taking matters into his hands, he started making fresh juices at home. His interest in health and fitness and understanding of the space lead him to launch India’s honestly healthy “All Good. No Bad” brand-Raw Pressery
Delicacies for the Success
Raw Pressury started off by home-delivering 8 types of fresh cold-pressed juices and also the first ever Juice Cleanse in Mumbai with the help of dabbawalas. The company’s brand has recently introduced dairy-free almond milk. A substitute for lactose intolerant and vegan audience, along with 4 different flavors such as cacao, plain (unsweetened), mango and dates. It has also introduced the country’s first-ever bottled sugarcane juice, keeping in mind the innovation and customer convenience without any compromise.
With more than 2000 points of sale, the company is catering its products in 16 different cities including Bangalore, Hyderabad, NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Mangalore, and Chennai. Expanding its horizon, the company has also endeavored into the Middle East especially in UAE and Qatar.
Enacting Social Responsibilities
In order to get shelf life, the juice that’s in a tetra pak or a glass bottle is pasteurized and pasteurizing impacts the nutritional value of the juice. The juices are are cold-pressed, never pasteurized and undergo high water pressure processing (HPP) technology for preserving the juice. Therefore, the company uses plastic bottles for storing the juices instead of glass or tetra paks.
Since inception, it has emphasized on recycling waste plastic bottles. The company has initiated the waste management programme by adopting the latest innovations and creativity and give plastic to fulfill its purpose other than clogging the ecosystem. They initiative is aptly called Raw Cycled as willing consumers return their bottles which are further sent to the recycling partners and converted into athleisure. Emerging as a farsighted startup, the company has acquired many awards such as ‘The Golden Spoon’, ’50 Emerging Startups to watch in India’ and even ‘The Entrepreneur of the Year’ which was awarded to Anuj Rakyan. The most recent award the company is proud and honored to receive is ‘The Best Vegan Drink award by Peta’ (2018).

After a good fortune of Raw Pressery,  Anuj has shared some secret ingredients behind the company’s success. He says,“Innovation can become your biggest differentiator and ensure you remain relevant to your target audience. It’s also important to be transparent and really understand the need of the consumer. We started with green juices keeping in mind the consumers need and have come along the innovation path to even launch India’s first bottled sugarcane juice. Always keep it simple, authentic and most importantly keep it Raw”.

Keeping up with the technology advancements, the company is soon going to showcase more transparency and further strengthen the trust within its customers. Technology will enable the company to publicize the entire supply chain. Right from where a particular ingredient was sourced, the soil condition and it’s pH level, at what temperature it was harvested and transported to the pressery. Even the details of the juicing process going right upto the point the bottle goes onto a retail shelf.
The company is also in collaboration with the farmers to gain and learn valuable insights to make the product better. Raw Pressery started with 8 super healthy cold pressed juices and now have over 26 different juices. The core philosophy of ‘All Good.
