The CEO, Rekha Dubey, speaks to us about her journey with ABMH and how the hospital is living up to its mission.
Brief us about journey with ABMH? What was the inspiration behind joining the healthcare Industry?
I left Apollo Hospitals and joined Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital as an assistant manager, and I believe that moment changed my journey. I managed an upward graph with the CEO designation that I clinched within five years. My growth at ABMH, however, was met with scepticism. But I managed all the criticisms and delivered what was expected from me by constantly focussing on the mission of the hospital. My route to triumph is hard work, patience, and perseverance. I have justified my role with meticulous work, and the imprint of my work can be seen in the way the hospital has shaped up.
Quality affordable healthcare is the basic need of every citizen in our country and we have huge gap of quality affordable healthcare services. I felt I can address this by taking up a challenging role like this and specially with a group which is one of the most trusted and respected group globally. Aditya Birla Group has always been in the frontier for adopting the latest technology and deploying Quality and Safety measures across the world and it was done so in this hospital to deliver the most advance quality and safe healthcare.
